Basic Infection Prevention and Control Procedures

The new Conditions of Participation scheduled for implementation on January 1, 2018 have added new home health aide training requirements.   Under section 484.80 home health aides are now required to complete education on not just basic infection control procedures, but also must understand procedures for prevention.  All current home health aides must complete the training by January 1st, and ongoing aides must complete the training as part of their 12 hour inservice requirements.

Your agency will be given 50 seats to this education program for each site you purchase. Enroll your users into the program via "Enroll Users in Course" and you and all of your participants will be sent a link to join the live session 1 week beforehand. A recording will be posted to the online course 1 week after the live session.
